Alright.

I was tagged by the lovely first, THEN tagged me 'cuz he's a bitch. And he said I wasn't going to do it! This is just me proving him wrong, like a boss. Don't know why anybody would want to know more about me, but since I'm bored as HELL. WHY NOT!? ENJOY!

10 FACTS ABOUT MYSELF

1) Err, basic stuff first. My name is Kyle, and I live just outside of Richmond, Virginia, in the US of A. Uhh I'm 19, and my birthday is December 14th, 1989. I'm a pretty chill guy. I joke around a lot with those I'm comfortable with and know well. It makes me happy when I make others happy, and I thrive on it. Give give give, until there's nothing left.

2) I'm a huge fan of roller coasters and going to amusement parks. My favorite park ever is Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, preferrably Islands of Adventure... but I love both parks. In a close second is Blackpool Pleasure Beach, in England. Place is fucking wicked.

3) Music is a major thing in my life. My favorite band is Thrice, if it's not painfully obvious already. Dustin Kensrue is one helluva vocalist, and he writes the most powerful, meaningful lyrics I've ever read. In terms of musicianship, they happen to be incredibly diverse and can pull off any genre with ease. I know they'll always push themselves into new territory and always try something different with their music.

4) Stemming from #3. The symbol you see a lot in my icons and at the bottom of my journal is one that is used to represent their last two "albums" to be released. The project as a whole is called the Alchemy Index, and it's truly amazing. It's one of my favorite albums ever and it means a ton to me for... various reasons. I'd love to get the symbol tattooed on my back someday, but I'm holding off for the moment. Definitely check it out.

5) As much as I try to not get too involved in it, the Sonic fandom is a pretty big deal to me. I've been a Sonic fan since my parents bought me the Sega Genesis when I was like 4 or 5. Loved the old school cartoons as well. I don't buy the games anymore, but I still adore Sonic as a character. Just one of those things I can't seem to let go of... I've literally met some of my best friends through the Sonic fandom, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

6) Uhh, stemming from #5. My fan-character is Stellar Jay, and he was originally designed for me by ~saiyanhajime as a way to sort of... have a persona in the fandom. He's been around since... late 2007 I think? I've been involved in a few message boards and such since 2004, but never had a character. It made me feel like shit. I honestly love him though, and for me it's such an amazing thing to have friends that draw him for me as gifts and all that. It means so much to me. I still need to work out a personality and all that good stuff for him. Can't even decide if I want him to be evil or not. I've been heavily leaning towards it, but it's a bit difficult when his power is supposed to be light. I dunno.

7) Yeah, I love splatters, particularly bloody splatters, but anything will do. XD Don't really know why, I just think they're so awesome. I like gore and sinister, morbidly dark stuff.

8) I'm a huge fan of the Saw series, particularly the first trilogy. They are easily the best "horror" movies to come out this decade. Love the dirty/gritty atmosphere of 'em, and the storyline and gore are beautiful. The characters are rather neat too.

9) I'm scared of the dark, seriously. I don't mind it most of the time, but when it's pitch black and I'm alone I get a bit spooked. Guess it's one reason why it's cool to have a character based on light. I'm also terrified of bugs, in particular... spiders. Holy shiiiiit, ugh. I don't like super sudden movement/loud noises either. Screamers are my worst nightmare. I do love playing pranks on people though, it amuses me to no end. 8)

10) Most importantly, I love my friends more than anything. Especially ~saiyanhajime. Thanks for being there for me, you know who you are. To those I haven't spoken to properly in... awhile, I'm sorry for... everything. It hurts, but I can't ever get the courage to speak first. I still care for you all dearly. Yes, this last fact is a cop-out, been typing this up for literally an hour because it takes me AGES to do anything. Bleh.
